Solving the labor shortage…
Recently I saw a meme that depicted the fact that a certain Florida restaurant chain said it had solved its labor shortage problem by offering better pay and better benefits…
Gee… Ya think?
I mean… could offering better wages and decent health care benefits than the competition really be the key that would sway people who are looking for a job to come on over to your work for your company over others that don’t provide the same?
Cancer and Medical Expenses
Good Golly Miss Molly and humph… who’d a thought of such a thing…
Give people a living wage and decent bennies and the next thing y’all know maybe those folks be coming to work with a smile instead of a frown and start being all sorts of productive and service oriented and then… humph… maybe the company’s sales and profits just might go significantly.
What’s next… Congress passing Medicare For all and Trump signing it?
Yeah… I know… in my dreams.
But since I’ve gone down the road…

Riding around my home town…
Out and about the other day doing stuff with my cousin… ya know, things like taking stuff to the recycling center (which was called “the dump” not all that long ago), grocery shopping, the food bank, applying for heat and other utility assistance from Social Services… and other sundry tasks we all need to do from day to day; week to week… but I do digress…

While driving around, going from here to there, I keep seeing freaking political campaign signs on people’s lawns declaring “Trump… Make America Great Again” or “Trump Will Take America Back.”
Understand it is now the first week in December… the damn election has been over for more than a month… and people still have these confounded damn “Trump for President” signs with all of his Trump’s stupid ass slogans.
It’s not like the area I live within is totally inundated with these Trump campaign signs…still… there are a fair amount of them left up on peoples lawns. And some of the signs are ginormous and simply in your face obnoxious. But…
I get it.

Your guy won the election and that you are one of the of the uniformed, ignorant (if not outwardly stupid) 77,234,090 (49.9% of the votes) voters who elected the fascist loving, racist, convicted felon and sex offender and lying SOB to be the country’s president for the next four years… providing he doesn’t declare martial law and declare himself “president for life.”
But really… over a month now… and still with the Trump for Prez signs?
Talk about rubbing it in.
This takes gloating to an entirely new, as well as an unnecessary and despicably ugly level.
