For the grabbag that is life

So i did quite a few movies on the previous site, and I get tired of the way its done, nothing annoys me more than seeing something like 4.5 on a 5 point scale. Why not just say 9 out of 10? Is there a difference between a 8.9999 movie and a 9 movie? There are some movies that are great I’ll never watch again, and some that are meh but I’ve seen a thousand times. So let me change it up a bit.

Here is the breakdown.

We are going on a 10-point scale.

1-5 actual enjoyment of the movie. Fairly straight-forward I hope, and if you want to push this like the scale everyone else uses, just double this rating and ignore the rest.

1-2 rewatchability of the movie. I’m big on rewatchability on movies. I tend to think that if a movie is good, it has to be rewatchable. I can’t think of a really good movie that you’d only watch once and then think, nope, never tossing that in. Well, maybe Oldboy- a movie I eventually need to do.

1-2 points for how much I have to recommend this movie. If I’m giving this movie 2 points here, then much like my original scale, I’m gonna make you watch this movie. Like Now.

So that’s 9 of 10, the Final point is simple. Does this movie belong in any Cinema Hall of Fame?

So enjoy, and any feedback is appreciated.
