Well, my debut last week went well, I finished 4-2. A 66.6% winning ratio and just to give you an idea…..
If you’re winning less than 50% you should probably stop.
Bettors who win 50% are just breaking even.
52-55% is decent.
56-59% is excellent
And if you’re hitting at a 60% and above clip, you’re a making some serious cash and probably have one of those 1-800 numbers and are selling your picks to the degenerates who have lost their wife and the kids to the gambling bug. Or those desperate losers who are winning at less than 50% of their wagers and desperately trying to win big.
66.6%? I’m pretty good at this……okay, it was one week. Let’s see what I can do this week, alright?
On to the games……
Iowa State @ Oklahoma 12pm ET on FOX
The Cyclones have a pretty competitive team this season (for them, remember it’s Iowa frigging State) compiling a 2-2 record, including a thrilling OT loss to IOwa a few weeks ago.
Oklahoma is coming off a disturbing 49-41 win over Baylor. A win is a win but that win showed some chinks in the Sooners armour, particularly their defense.
Iowa State is a much better team than Baylor and can score points.
OU had a bye last week and it may have given them some time to regroup but this is a game where you should take Iowa State and +31.5 points and the under 62.
My prediction is Sooners win, 38-20.
This is an interesting game, the Tide come into it as 26.5 favorites and that’s a lot considering they are playing in College Station, Texas.
The Aggies have reeled off four straight wins after an embarrassing choke job against the UCLA Bruins in their season opener. A couple were against non conference patsies but they showed their toughness in two tough wins over Arkansas and South Carolina.
Alabama is another beast altogether but it’s at home for A & M. And historically, the Tide are not great at covering the spread, although they are 3-2 this season.
The Aggies +26.5 and the under 52.
Bama wins, 34-10.
Washington State @ Oregon 8pm ET FOX
Oregon is without their QB Justin Herbert and RB Royce Freeman plus they are without some defensive talent. They have some depth at RB but the loss of Herbert is going to be too much to overcome.
Washington State -3 and the over 60.5.
It will be close for a half because it’s tough to play in Eugene but the Cougs will pull away in the 2nd half.
WSU wins, 38-23
Done. Get on with your lives, you won’t be able to get back the time you spent reading this. Till I’m back again next week (it’s inevitable) enjoy a nice day of college football!!!!!
