Speaking of ignorant elephants…
A first-term elephant congressperson Rep. Roger Marshall (Kansas) is a a former obstetrician and a member of the GOP Doctors Caucus and a leading member of the leadership who are drawing up a conservative replacement plan for the Affordable Care Act. Recently, in an interview with the health care-focused website STAT he was discussing Medicaid and its possible future and said “Just like Jesus said, ‘The poor will always be with us.’ There is a group of people that just don’t want health care and aren’t going to take care of themselves.”
Asked to what the hell he meant (my words not the websites) the poor excuse for an example of humanity said that poor folks and people who are homeless are morally and socially unable to or simply won’t get and use health care when he said, “The Medicaid population… (which is on a free ride) … do probably the least preventive medicine and taking care of themselves and eating healthy and exercising. And I’m not judging; I’m just saying socially that’s where they are.”
Needless to say all hell broke loose when his words came to light… and a shit storm of criticism came to light upon his ass…
With Sean Gatewood, an administrator at the KanCare Advocates Network, telling the the Kansas City Star, “The folks that are on Medicaid, they’re people with significant disabilities, children and pregnant women and older Kansans who all want health care, and the state has a basic consensus that they deserve it, that they have that right. I can’t understand how a physician would not already have a fundamental understanding of that issue, but it doesn’t feel like he does.”
Marshall tried walking his words back when he later said, “When I said ‘The poor will always be with us,’ it was actually in the context of supporting the obligation we have to always take care of people, but we cannot completely craft a larger, affordable health care policy around a comparatively small segment of the population who will get care no matter what.” He added, “… my agenda is driven by two realities: That Obamacare has been detrimental to patients and that we must care for all in need, no matter what.”
No… you and your cohorts don’t profit as much from the business of medicine that you previously did is what the issue is. Now instead of fixing what is wrong with the Affordable Care Act… that has its problems BUT without a doubt brought real health care to millions of people who never had it because they simply could not afford it and if the truth is told probably actually y saved hundreds of thousands of lives since it’s been instituted as law… you and all fat cat cronies want to toss it into the trashbin and replace it with something that restores the medicine to being a profitable business. That’s ideology is… “If we can save lives that’s paramount… as long as the life being saved can afford to be saved.”
Ya fucking ass… the reason we have poor people is because rich bastards… who you serve on your damn bended knee as their lackey and go-fetch-it boy…. control so damn much wealth that the result is there it creates a certain segment of society that has to come up short… some of them way short of anything even approaching a bare bones subsistence of life.
Grok this simple damn fact… for capitalism to exist there MUST be a class system…which includes the fact there MUST be a poor class, a part of which MUST be in total impoverishment.
To say these impoverished people… inclusive of the homeless; the most forlorn; the most woe begotten… or… as he so inhumanely and scrooge-like says it… the Medicaid population… don’t want to have health care is to say they don’t want to eat that day. What lame-brained idjit… in what bizarro world… could even conceive of people who don’t want health care? Oh, yeah… these idjits… who don’t serve we the people they took an oath to serve but instead cater to and kiss the asses of the damn .00001%
And, if for one damn second this twit thought… a possibility that may be way past his abilities to do so in a reasonable fashion… the big reason these people do the least preventive medicine and the poorest taking care of themselves and not eating healthy and exercising…

That’s a summary of a study that was performed by researchers at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. The study was published August 8, 2016 in JAMA Internal Medicine.
Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health was originally founded in 1913 as the Harvard-MIT School of Health Officers, the School is recognized as America’s oldest professional training program in public health.
The real health care solution…
It’s right before our damn eyes. Been there for quite awhile actually.

H.R. 676 was introduced in 2003 and went nowhere.
In 2009, the bill was reintroduced and renamed from the United States National Health Insurance Act to the United States National Care Act. This was done to illustrate and emphasize the reality that the proposed law would provide health care rather than health insurance.
The bill was reintroduced in 2013.
And… H.R. 676… the Expanded and Improved Medicare for All Act… was introduced on January 24th 2017.
What is H.R. 676?
I’ll try and make this real short and simple… although healthcare is not a simplistic matter itself…
H.R. 676… The United States National Health Care Act (USNHC)… aka Expanded and Improved Medicare for All Act… would/will give every American health insurance with single payer financing. It would be publicly financed but administered privately through a system that delivered health care by expanding and improving upon the already existing Medicare program.
The stated goal of the law would be to ensure that all Americans will have access to the highest quality and most cost-effective health care services regardless of their employment, income or health care status.
Health care would become a human right.
Every person living in America and any of the U.S. Territories would get a United States National Health Insurance Card and ID number.
All medically necessary services… that means…primary care, inpatient care, outpatient care, emergency care, prescription drugs, durable medical equipment, hearing services, long term care, palliative care, podiatric care, mental health services, dentistry, eye care, chiropractic, and substance abuse treatment.
People would have their of doctors, hospitals, clinics, and practices.
No co-pays or deductibles under this act.
Doctors, hospitals, and clinics will continue to operate as privately entities.
Insurance companies would be prohibited from selling any insurance that would duplicate any of the benefits of USNHC. They would be allowed to sell insurance for cosmetic surgery or any other medically unnecessary treatments.
The USNHC program will negotiate reimbursement rates annually with physicians, allow for global budgets (monthly lump sums for operating expenses) for hospitals, and negotiate prices for prescription drugs, medical supplies and equipment. A “Medicare For All Trust Fund” will be established to ensure a dedicated stream of funding.
The result of all of this?
Currently, a family of our pay about $4,225 on health care annually… $2,713 on premiums and another $1,522 on medical services, drugs and supplies. That does not include the 1.45% Medicare payroll tax all workers also pay.
A study by Dean Baker of the Center for Economic Research and Policy states that under H.R. 676 a family of four who makes $56,200 per year would pay about $2,700 for all health care costs.
In 2006, health insurance companies charged businesses about $11,500 for a health plan for a family of four, wit he company being on the hook for 74% of this premium… or… $8,510 per year.
Under H.R. 676, businesses would pay a 4.75% payroll tax for all health care costs. It is estimated for a family of four who make around that hypothetical number… $56,200… a business would pay about $2,700.
Dean Baker estimates that savings… from reduced administration, bulk purchasing, and coordination among providers… would be about $387 billion. Other estimate sources have put the savings over $400 billion… some say $500 billion…
So, why haven’t American politicians… our reps in Congress… considered H.R. 676?
Simply… because the insurance companies have bribed our congress peeps congress with hundreds of millions of dollars to maintain their dominance over the administration of our health care system and by extension their siphon upon our wallets and bank accounts.
In my opinion ,what we really need is a constitutional amendment saying that health care is a human right that cannot be denied to anyone. I have always maintained if a person is not healthy or has the ability to get and then stay healthy then how can they pursue happiness. I mean… if… “We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” … then how could a person pursue any of these unalienable rights if they are not in good health?
Short of a constitutional amendment that specifies that health care is a fundamental human right of all US citizens H.R. 676 is the best and probably the only rational health care solution for America.
Or… we can keep on keeping on fumble-fucking along with the constant arguing and bickering of how to allow the health care big business monster to keep fucking us all as we cower sickly in our hovels before we go along meekly to the poorhouse… or, worse… the graveyard.

Because he recently said this… said Tuesday that, they should offer their own legislation.
“If you don’t like this proposal (if Democrats don’t like an elephant sponsored House bill to repeal and replace the ACA), then what’s your suggestion? What’s your suggestion?”
He followed that up with “If (Democrats) don’t like what has been proposed by the House, then we invite them to join us as we solve the problem.”
He then added, “I’m sensing that they’re just sitting back on their hands and taking great glee, great joy, out of seeing this market place of their creation melting down and people being left high and dry.”
First things first… and… first… there is this thing… a damn law in fact… called the Affordable Care Act, which by the by you elephants are trying to do away with that already gives millions of previously uninsured Americans health care insurance and access to somewhat affordable healthcare.
Second… Many understand there are real problems with the ACA as presently constituted… it needs fixing (not replacing except for my alternative suggestion above.) In fact, many donkeys have for years either asked the elephants for a real alternative or for them to cross the aisle and work together to resolve the issues that do exist with the ACA. But all of those invites have always been refuses by the elephants. Most likely following through the dumbass mindset of when the Bamster was first elected and Mitch McConnell stated unequivocally that the primary and foremost job of all elephants is to make sure that President Obama would not be reelected… not lower taxes… not rebuild the infrastructure… not stop wars… not take on discrimination… not make sure poverty is eliminated in America… but… get the Bamster unelected. When the elephants failed at that it was declared and determined that the elephants would do everything possible to obstruct and deny Obama from trying to do anything in the least that could help Americans get a better life.
And third… the health care marketplace wouldn’t be melting down if the elephants would just shut the fuck up, roll up their sleeves and sit down and work with the donkeys to fix what is wrong with what is already law. (Or, pass H.R. 676.) The only reason there could be a marketplace meltdown and any Americans would be left high and dry without responsible health care insurance is because the elephants want to repeal the ACA and replace it with something totally inferior as well as costlier. And, if, by his asinine comments, this schmuck is referring to the fact that a growing number of elephants are saying “what the fuck” to the reality that the Congressional Budget Office has said that under the Ryan/Trump proposal there would be about 14 million people who would have no insurance by 2018 and that that number would explode to 24 million by 2026, then there is this thing that is called a mirror that he needs to look into.
Blame yourself for the possibility of this absurd idiocy becoming a reality not the donkeys.

News flash… Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell attended a Politico breakfast and someone asked if Mexico would pay for the Trumpian wall that would be built to protect the U.S. from the very dangerous and nefarious denizens that were threatening to cross our borders at a moment’s notice.
He replied, “Uh, no.”
He also said, “There are some places along the border where that’s probably not the best way to secure the border.”
Humph… even a stupid ass ignorant slut dinosaur such as McConnell can say something that resembles sanity.
When the truth is found…
Ya know… Trumpty Dumpty does have a point… to a point… about fake news… or at least news sources that report the news negligently or what I call negligent news. Or, they present the news in a way so that it is slanted towards how they want peeps to think.
But… what about when he manipulates the news so that it supports his misrepresentations… aka lies.
Recent news flash from the White House… “Job totals were ‘phony,’ but they’re ‘very real now’”
Last week the jobs numbers for February were released and they were what would be called good…
Now… let me stop here for a moment and just interject an editorial comment. Yeah, I know, the entire WTF column is an editorial comment but this time its very germane to the topic…
These job reports it all about who is being hired and not being hired. It’s rarely, if ever, presented so that we know who is being hired and for what jobs… and… if those jobs are permanent or transitory in nature. It also states “facts” about the unemployment rate… it’s ups; it’s downs and usually between something very low like maybe 4% or something very high like maybe 11% or anywhere in-between.
The unemployment… aka unenjoyment… number? That number just tells us who is presently getting an unenjoyemnt check. It doesn’t represent who is working or not working in America It doesn’t take into consideration all those folks whose bennies ran out and still don’t have a job… it doesn’t take into consideration all those folks on welfare or some other form of assistance… it doesn’t tell us all those folks who have gotten so frustrated with their search for a real and decent job that have just given up looking for a job and turned elsewhere for money (Take your pick drug dealer, thief, prostitute, etc… or, just being begging for assistance from wherever and whomever.)
So, we’re clear on that? Okay…
Anyway, the jobs numbers were released and they said 235,000 jobs were added in February and unemployment was at 4.7%.
And… it also said that the White House… aka Trumpty Dumpty… was thrilled about these numbers.
Remember, if you would, this is the same guy… who at one time when he was running for president said that the real percentage of Americans without jobs was about 20% (which is a lot closer to the truth than most people want to admit.) He also said at one point it might be 42%. And… in December, when the jobs report said while the economy adding a “slightly disappointing 156,000 jobs” it still was the 75th consecutive month of job gains, the best ever record. AND, that the economy added over 2 million new jobs for the year and employment was sitting around 4.7%
Trumpty said that was “totally fiction.” Or… fake news.
So… for all the time that he was campaigning and right into his presidency… Trumpty was saying that all the jobs reports were bullshit… the economy was in the shitter… and the Bureau of Labor Statistics was just releasing Bamster propaganda… or… fake news.
But now… Trumpty is over joyed at the new numbers for February 2017. And it’s supposed to be real news.
Right… the numbers from January 2016 right through to December 2016 were all fake news…
But now… it’s all good..
The same numbers that were effectively announced in November and December were bullshit…
But… now… it’s all good.
It was all a lie before while the Bamster was in office but now through Trumpty’s inspiration of making America Great Again! and his being very smart and having great business sense and know how… the February jobs report is real.
How do we know all of this about February’s numbers?
“Yeah, I talked to the president prior to this (press conference) and he said to quote him very clearly: ‘They may have been phony in the past, but it’s very real now.’”
Just wondering… what happens if the number go back downwards… or… worse… right into the toilet? And if unemployment jumps to double digits?
The labor department grunts are a bunch of no account liars? The Bamster is out to get him? Its Hillary Billary’s fault? The Muslims and Mexicans and all them other illegals are fucking things up? It’s the lying press that is to blame?

Some even threatened legal action… or, worse… had a lawyer contact our illustrious founder… David.
