Infant president & other thoughts @ WTF 2/8

little big horn

In space no one can hear you scream… in President Trumpty Dumpty’s America the same reality eventually may be a reality, too.

Be afraid… be very, very, very afraid.

The infant president

joe1-jpg1Is America safer when our president announces a ban on people from predominantly Muslim countries? Is America safer when our president insults the Prime Minister of Australia and hangs up on him? Is America safer when our president threatens to invade Mexico?

Is America safer when the president obsesses about the size of the crowd at his inauguration and then sends out his lap dog press secretary to say that the crowd was huger than any ever in the history of all presidential inaugurations?  Is America safer when the president’s other lap dog defends the press-sec by saying he had simply offered “alternative facts?”

Is America safer when the president incongruously tweets that 3 million to 5 million illegal votes had been cast in the election and that’s why he lost the popular vote to Hillary Billary?orange history week

Are we safer when the president refuses to listen the intelligence community’s investigations of anything in a rational and responsible manner weighing the pros and cons and then deciding upon a course of action? Are we safer when the president is bickering and picking fights with these same intelligence people? Are we safer when the president claims he is more knowledgeable… more intelligent (because he is a smart person) than his intelligence community? Are we safer when civilians in Yemen are killed and a Navy SEAL loses his life in a hastily planned operation that most intelligence people thought… almost to a person… was screwed from the get go yet the president gave the “go ahead” to do it?

Is America safer when countless media sources from main stream news to alternative news are saying that White House sources “(are) giving a picture of an insecure, irrational man who is obsessed with his image and little else.”?

I ask… is America getting greater yet?

If, you are honest and are of a relatively sound mind and have the capacity to think for yourself and read more than one newspaper (whether in print or online), watch more than one source of televised news or computerized news and use social media for what it is… as a way of communicating with like-minded people and gossip then I think you know the answers.

The joke is no longer a joke… in fact… sadly, it has never been a joke…

From the beginning it has been and still is a distasteful, sick comedy of errors and indictment of the political and the social system that exists in America today.  A system that has put into the presidency a man who through his arrogance, ignorance and blatant hostility to anyone who is not in agreement with him that is costing lives.trump-elephant-ass

Obama’s record is what it is. He was just another president in a long line of presidents who ultimately did more for the 1% than he did for we the people. Regardless, of any so called liberal good… and he did do a fair amount… he did for we the people.

My stand on Hillary Billary Clinton is well documented and known… I distrusted… and still distrust… her immensely and I did not vote for her.

This is not about either of them. So, before anyone tries to bring up their records or past misdeeds or whatever else someone may think is germane to the issues, this simply is not. So stop before you begin… because I probably know most of your comments and surprisingly to some I probably will agree… or at least say they have some amount of credibility… with many of the comments. Unless ya’ll be spouting some of that birther shit or something other dumbass inanity.

Rather, it is about the naivety and inexperience Trump brings to the table when it comes to international politics and warfare. Simply put… he is out of his league. He is as undiplomatic as they come. Say what you want about the Bamster… Hillary Billary… Georgie Porgie Bush… in fact, think of one person who was in the White House in the last 100 years and try and come up with one man who was as ill prepared to be the president as Trumpty was. And, nope, not even farmboy Jimbo Carter or accident prone Gerry Ford were as ill-prepared as Trumpty Dumpty.

Simply put… he seems incapable of dealing with the rigors of the presidency and the resulting stress that comes from dealing with those rigors on a day to day basis.

He is a man who is obsesses about how he is perceived… he finches at the least hint of criticism… picks fights and battles with those he thinks he can intimidate… which by the by is every fucking damn person alive.brat trump

He is an aristocratic, megalomaniac, business-world man who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and has lived a privileged existence and thinks… hell, he believes… that he is entitled to be the emperor of the United States… benevolently ruling over his minions and poor, poor pitiful populace.

He is an incessant narcissistic braggart who lacks any ability to be a person who has any empathy… or even pretend to have empathy… for anyone other than his own damn self. He is a pathological liar who lies when the truth would serve him so much better. He is a man who is never remorseful, whenever he is ever caught in a false hold. In fact, he just lies and lies and lies until no one even remembers what the hell the first lie was all about… or… so he hopes.

He surrounds himself with other pathological liars… or… at least people who will willingly lie in consort with him for the sake of being a pawn in his power machine that he is attempting to assemble as he tries to help manipulate the political system to facilitate the corporate takeover of the country to create and impose a government of the billionaires, for the billionaires and by the billionaires… a neo-feudalism reality…

Now, that I have established the Neanderthal-like, troglodyte subhuman life form that the current president is… Trumpty Dumpty, a rich fucking and dangerous dolt…

What the fuck is a poor populace to do to head off this impending disaster that is facing America… and… ultimately the world?

The 25th Amendment.. specifically, Section 4 of the 25th amendment. Presidential incapacity… it may be the answer.

Whenever, the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.25th

Thereafter, when the President transmits to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives his written declaration that no inability exists, he shall resume the powers and duties of his office unless the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive department or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit within four days to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office. Thereupon Congress shall decide the issue, assembling within forty-eight hours for that purpose if not in session. If the Congress, within twenty-one days after receipt of the latter written declaration, or, if Congress is not in session, within twenty-one days after Congress is required to assemble, determines by two-thirds vote of both Houses that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall continue to discharge the same as Acting President; otherwise, the President shall resume the powers and duties of his office.

The key phrase is that the president is “unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office.” How that reality is defined is open to interpretation… whether he is bat shit crazy, gone over the deep end, mentally unbalanced or unhealthy, suffering from other issue such as being bipolar and off his meds, uncontrollable narcissism, a sociopath, a psychopath… but… regardless of any of that… the fact is… if all the right people come into a confluence of agreement about the dolt that is our present president, he could be usurped from his seat of position and in the Casa Blanca.

However, improbable it would be for that to happen… that members of Trump’s Cabinet or the Republican leadership in Congress would ever get on board with invoking that part of the 25th amendment… does anyone really think the majority of the elephants are enjoying the bizarro sideshow bonkers circus that is going on in the White House? Or, that the elephants really want Trumpty Dumpty as the face of the elephant party and/or the leader of their desired new world order corporate power structure?

Or… would they rather that Shock-therapy Mikey be the figurehead of the corporate takeover of the American government?

So… with Mikey looming in the background as a big “be careful what you wish for” scenario… still… with all the bizarro world behavior Trumpty has been exhibiting over the first 18 days or so of his infant presidency how much further does he have to go before even many, if not most, elephants even become terrified of the thorny path of no return that Trumpty may catapult the country down?

Once more… Are we stronger? Are we safer? Are we greater yet?

The United States of Goldman Sachs…

Remember before the election… during the campaigning… Trumpty said he was gonna take on Wall Street? … “I want to do something with the Wall Street guys. They make a fortune and they pay very little taxes.” … “The hedge fund guys are getting away with murder.” …  “I know the guys at Goldman Sachs. They have total, total control over Ted Cruz. Just like they have total control over Hillary Clinton…. They have no control over Donald Trump.”

So… what’s the post-election story?

Goldman Sachs dominates his administration…

Chief Strategist Steve Bannon… former Goldman Sachs banker.trump gs hires

National Economic Council Director Gary Cohn… former COO and President of Goldman Sachs.

Treasury Secretary nominee Steve Mnuchin… former Goldman Sachs partner.

Trump advisor who will be focusing on entrepreneurship, economic growth and the empowerment of women Dina Powell… Goldman Sachs executive and president of the Goldman Sachs Foundation.

Head of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission nominee Jay Clayton… Clayton has never worked directly for Goldman Sachs but he is a partner with Manhattan law firm Sullivan & Cromwell, whose biggest client is arguably Goldman Sachs. And… oh, yeah… his wife Gretchen? VP at Goldman Sachs.

What I need to say something here? You can’t draw your own damn conclusions?

OK… I will say something. Trumpty… hypocrite that he is… is doing nothing unusual here.

Say what?

Before Trumpty? The previous four presidents? All had administrations with heavy Goldman Sachs peeps and influences.

It is just some more of the same old, same old as we head on into a future of a world of the corporate takeover of the government.

And… you wonder why ya’ll never seem to be able to get ahead? Because… they had it all planned so that you never could.  The system ain’t broke; its working just like they want it to.

We need a new damn system.

We can’t handle the truth…

Ahead of Sunday’s Super Bowl, Trumpty Dumpty taped an interview with Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly and while it was interesting on many levels, both small and big as well as wide and varied touching on a number of political and social issues. There was a part of the interview that made my ears perk; my eyes shoot to the screen and say what the fuck did he just say? And it’s not what many might think.

I wasn’t shocked that Trumpty had said another lie. I wasn’t shocked that he distorted another truth with an alternate fact. I was shocked that the fucker had actually told the damn truth. The honest to goodness, seldom spoken truth.

And what was the truth he spoke? Simply this…

O’REILLY: Do you respect Putin?trump Oreilly

TRUMP: I do respect him.

O’REILLY: Do you? Why?

TRUMP: Well, I respect a lot of people. But that doesn’t mean I am going to get along with him. He’s a leader of his country. I say it’s better to get along with Russia than not. Will I get along with them? I have no idea.

O’REILLY: He is a killer though. Put is a killer.

TRUMP: There are a lot of killers. Do you think our country is so innocent? Do you think our country is so innocent?

O’REILLY: I don’t know of any government leaders that are killers in America.

TRUMP: Take a look at what we have done too. We’ve made a lot of mistakes. I’ve been against the war in Iraq from the beginning.

O’REILLY: Yes. Mistakes are different then —

TRUMP: A lot of mistakes, okay? But a lot of people were killed. So, a lot of killers around, believe me.

O’REILLY: “I don’t know of any government leaders that are killers.”

TRUMP: “Well, take a look at what we’ve done too… made a lot of mistakes. I’ve been against the war in Iraq from the beginning… made a lot of mistakes, but a lot of people were killed, so. A lot of killers around, believe me.

And the whole damn nation was in an uproar. Congresspeeps all over the place… both sides of the aisle… donkeys and elephants alike… went absolutely nutso and said what the fuck did he say? That’s crazy! For exactly the opposite reason that my interests were peaked.

Wanna know my reaction after I said “What the fuck did he just say?”

He spoke the truth. The motherfucker is speaking the damn truth.

But from the elephant’s side of the fence… Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said he wouldn’t “critique every utterance” of Trumpty Dumpty’s… but he didn’t defend those particular comments either when he said. “I obviously don’t see this issue the same way he does. America is different… we don’t operate in any way the way the Russians do.”

Vice-President Pence said it was important not to let “semantics” get in the way of exploring ways to work together with Russia.

Senator Marco Rubio tweeted: “We are not the same as Putin.”

Senator Ben Sasse said he saw no equivalency between the U.S. and “murderous thugs” who did as Putin ordered them to do.

Among the typical comments from the donkey’s side… Senator Amy Klobuchar Democrats said, “I really do resent that he would say something like that.”

I am not going to get into whether I think Putin is a killer or nor… either directly or indirectly through the KGB or various other the Russian government agencies.  It’s not that I don’t care about Putin or his alleged atrocities, it’s just that it ain’t germane to the discussion. What is germane is why Trumpty comments are honest and why almost all of America is feigning horror at his words… pretending we are so damn lily white clean of any complicity in murder as a country… as a nation

Need proof America’s murderous past?

On November 29, 1864, 675-strong force of the Colorado U.S. Volunteer Cavalry attacked and slaughtered a village of Cheyenne and Arapaho in the then Colorado Territory. The soldiers murdered and mutilating an estimated 163 Native Americans and about two-thirds were women and children. The spot of the murderous incident has since been Sand Creek Massacre and is now a National Historical Site that is cared for by the National Park Service.

On January 29, 1863, the U.S. Army’s Third California Volunteers massacred some 490-plus Northwestern Shoshone Indians.  It has been said that the massacre of the Shoshone was two diverse cultures trying to share the same land, and the Shoshone tragically lost.

On December 29, 1890 the Wounded Knee massacre occurred and estimates say that over 350 Lakota people were gunned down and slaughtered. Most of those who were killed were sick, starved, and exhausted from being pursued by the US armed forces and most of the Lakota were elderly, very sick, or infants. Historical reports say that mother with babies at their breast were shot in the back. Then the babies were thrown in the air and used for target practice.

And that is just some of the more grievous incidents of murderous American conflict with American indigenous peoples.

Need more evidence?

The Democratic Convention of ’68 police action against antiwar and anti-racism activists.

The murder of students at Kent State or Jackson State by cops and national guard troops.

The violence that was done by Washington DC cops and then American troops against Bonus Army demonstrators who had assembled en masse for promised back pay or bonuses that were promised and then denied by the American government.

Washington cops opened fire as they met resistance as they tried to disperse thousands of veterans and their families from makeshift campsites around DC. Two vets from World War One were wounded and ultimately died. President Herbert Hoover sent in the U.S. Army to clear the veterans’ campsite. Cavalry forces led by General Douglas MacArthur, attacked the Bonus Army marchers with fixed bayonets and an arsenical gas. Fifty-five vets were seriously injured and 135 arrested. A 12-week old baby was hospitalized due to the gas and later died.

Then the list of US support for murderous and tyrannical governments is longer than long and sad…

Among them are Iraq and Sadam Hussein (1982-1990); South Vietnam and Ngo Dinh Diem who was later assassinated by a US supported coup against him … later supported coup against him and his ultimate assassination (1955-1963); Cambodia and Lon Nol (1970-1975); Iran and Mohammad Reza Pahlavi (1941-1979); Yemen and Ali Abdullah Saleh (1990-2012); South Africa and the National Party (1948-1994.)

Confirmed cases CIA supported coups include…  In 1953 they were instrumental in ouster of Iranian Prime Minister Mohammed Mossadegh.

In 1954 they were involved in first supporting Guatemalan President Jacobo Árbenz but the relationship went south as Árbenz attempted a series of land reforms that threatened the holdings of the U.S.-owned United Fruit Company. In 1999 it was revealed the CIA equipped rebels and paramilitary troops while the U.S. Navy blockaded the Guatemalan coast.

In 1960 Patrice Lumumba, the first prime minister of the Congo was pushed out of office by Congolese President Joseph Kasavubu who was aided by U.S.-supported Belgian military forces. Lumumba however, maintained an armed opposition to the Belgian military and when he contacted Soviets for assistance it was determined he was a real and imminent threat to the installed government of Joseph Mobutu. In 1975 a senate investigation found that the CIA the Congolese in their efforts against Lumumba. Lumumba was captured in late 1960 and killed in January of the following year.allende

In 1964 the US government was afraid Brazil was about to become the China of South America. The United States backed a Brazilian army coup. The CIA provide fuel and ams to the Brazilian military forces.  President Lyndon Johnson told his advisers who were involved in the planning of the coup that he thought “… we ought to take every step that we can, be prepared to do everything that we need to do.”

In the 1970s Chili was led by Socialist Salvador Allende. President Richard Nixon ordered the CIA to “make the (Chilean) economy scream.” The CIA worked directly with various Chilean groups to plot coups against Allende including providing arms and munitions. General Augusto Pinochet led a successful military coup against Allende in 1973. The US officially recognized Pinochet and supported his regime despite knowledge of severe human rights abuses, including the murder of political dissidents.

Again these are only some of the known situations and incidents where the United States was involved in murderous actions.

We are not so damn lily white clean and virtuous.

Trump spoke the damn truth.

The elephant Congress can’t handle the truth either…

In a hearing on whether Senator Jeff Sessions should be the country;s’s next Attorney General Sen. Elizabeth Warren tired to enter into the hearing a damning letter from Coretta Scott King,  the widow of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. … asking Congress to block Sessions’ 1986 nomination to become a federal judge. warren

As Warren started to read Ms. King’s words, Senator Steve Daines bitched that she was violating Rule 19 of the Senate: “No Senator in debate shall, directly or indirectly, by any form of words impute to another Senator or to other Senators any conduct or motive unworthy or unbecoming a Senator.”

Warren questioned why Ms. Kings’ words would be objectionable and she was reluctantly allowed to continue reading…  but only after she was made to agree that she needed to be cautious of violating “the rule.”

Coretta Scott King

Within minutes…  Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell interrupted her and said that Warren had “impugned the motives and conduct of our colleague from Alabama … I call the senator to order under the provisions of Rule 19.”

Warren was forbidden to continue reading Coretta King’s letter and was also banned from further participating in the hearing on Jeff Sessions worthiness to be our next Attorney General.  Essentially, she was sent to her room without supper and made to think about what she tried to do and why she was a bad girl.

She was fucking censored in a most un-American manner is what damn well happened.

WTF is not presently censored… in memory of Coretta King as well as the Black struggle for justice and Elizabeth Warren’s attempt to oppose an unworthy nominee to be the next Attorney General WTF presents Coretta King’s letter…

Dear Senator Thurmond:

I write to express my sincere opposition to the confirmation of Jefferson B. Sessions as a Coretta-Scott-King-vs-Sessionsfederal district court judge for the Southern District of Alabama. My professional and personal roots in Alabama are deep and lasting. Anyone who has used the power of his office as United States Attorney to intimidate and chill the free exercise of the ballot by citizens should not be elevated to our courts. Mr. Sessions has used the awesome powers of his office in a shabby attempt to intimidate and frighten elderly black voters. For this reprehensible conduct, he should not be rewarded with a federal judgeship.

I regret that a long-standing commitment prevents me from appearing in person to testify against this nominee. However, I have attached a copy of my statement opposing Mr. Sessions’ confirmation and I request that my statement as well as this letter be made a part of the hearing record.

I do sincerely urge you to oppose the confirmation of Mr. Sessions.

Coretta Scott King

Another thousand words…
