The lowest crime ever… WTF 4/6

The lowest crime of the low and the most despicable…

In my mind, there is no crime lower or more despicable than when some creep fucks with a child… physical abuse is horrible… in and of itself… but… when it involves sexual abuse… my pissed offedness is off the charts…. Simply and frankly, I abhor it and I take it personal…

I got my reasons… and it ain’t nobody’s business but my own what they are… just know that they are real and they are justified…

And, in my mind,  there should never be a time when a proven sexual predator should be free from having to suffer the consequences of his actions… or… for a child to seek and find justice… in whatever small measure that can be given for innocence stolen that he or she deserves…

With that said… I give you this week’s column…

Crime… and… time… what is it good for?

joe1About a week ago there appeared in the New York Daily News a series of articles that exposed, examined and opined about New York… the state not the city… law that requires child victims of sex abuse to seek legal recourse before their 23rd birthday and how… as the News puts it… certain elephant politicians have road blocked any proposed legislation that would change that reality for those children who have been sexually abused.

The reason… again as the News presents it… is because the elephants  are “…more concerned about the rights of pervs than their accusers… or too busy to even consider reforms.”

Senate Majority Leader and elephant John Flanagan’s spokesperson, Scott Reif, wrote to the news in an email that, “We aren’t going to discuss it until after the (state) budget is settled.” Flanagan spokesman.

Or, that other key elephant pols said they little to no inclination to change the law that says a child who is a victim of sexual abuse needs to seek legal recourse before their 23rd birthday.sex abuse limitations30e-1-web

“Legal recourse”… that means that some child who was sexually abuse… child meaning from the day they were born until about eighteen… has to officially get a lawyer and then go to court and file a fucking notice that says “Hey, you fucked with me…literally… and I intend to get your ass in court and make you pay legally with your life for the shit ya’ll did to me.” Of, course, all said in a nice formal legal way in nice formal legal verbiage… like “legal recourse”…

What initiated all of this was the news that some scumbag… oh, sorry, that’s my opinion based on hearsay…. so, strike that… that a certain Cesar Gonzales-Mugaburu, a dude who was a foster parent to as many as 140 children, was charged last month with abusing seven children. BUT… Gonzales-Mugaburu could not be charged with any crimes because the statute of limitations had expired.

I ain’t going into the nitty gritty of the wheres and whys and all the other rigmarole behind the bullshit involved… or… the he and she saids… and… the they and them saids because in my mind… and my heart… it ain’t needed. Here’s why…

Sexual abuse crime needs to be brought against a person regardless of how long ago they were committed… yeah… real serious effort needs to be done vetting any allegations regarding any sexual crime and  he abuse committed but once that is done I don’t give fuck how long ago that crime… that sex abuse… was done…any person who has abused any child needs to have his… or her…ass busted… place into a jail and then brought into a court to face the “allegations” of his… or her… a horrendous and heinous acts.

As Assembly-person, and donkey, Margaret Markey says … “It’s the right thing to do. It’s about protecting children and victims who have been abused.”

Or, as Bill Donohue, president of the Catholic League, has said, “We should do everything in our power to give all survivors of child sexual abuse their day in court, as well as get predators off the street and behind bars.”justice denied

To be clear… “A statute of limitation is a law which forbids prosecutors from charging someone with a crime that was committed more than a specified number of years ago. The general purpose of statutes of limitation is to make sure convictions occur only upon evidence (physical or eyewitness) that has not deteriorated with time. After the period of the statute has run, the criminal is essentially free.”

However, here are some crimes that are considered to be so grievous against the fabric of society… of our morality or ethos… that they have no statute of limitation.

Murder, for one… we consider that crime so nasty and despicable that the need to protect society surpasses the need to protect the rights of the accused.

There are other crimes that, if not always, they are at least mostly considered by the courts to be without any limitations on when the clock stops for criminal prosecution…

Fraud and embezzlement… you fuck with corporations or banks money they gonna get your ass…

War Crimes… don’t matter how long you been free and living the the good life, if your ass gets caught then you will either die or be put into a miserable prison somewhere…

Kidnapping, especially if a child is involved… do not fuck with somebody’s child or loved one… uh, uh… that does not compute and your ass will pay for that crime

And…

Treason… it is, kind of, a foregone conclusion when you think about it… don’t fuck with the government because the government don’t like that shit and they will fuck you up totally in return…

And, then there is the sexual predator… the sex abuser…

Sexual predation upon our children doesn’t belong with any of those crimes? It is not akin to murder? Or kidnapping? Or treason?power

A person sexually abuses a child then they stop growing… their maturation process is forever altered, inhibited and in some cases halted. They manage to grow older but… for most… their social development has been gravely and forever altered… they are destined to be lost in a neverland of confusion and inhibition of who they are sexually and morally and what they should be in life… society. In effect their soul and their innocence has been kidnapped and then murdered with one of the most treasonous forms of tyranny against a person, and thus, society that can ever be done.

And, for that, there should never… ever… be any statute of limitations.

Never… ever…

(Editor’s note… this article was written mostly with the New York State law in mind but is also written about laws in general as regards sex abuse against our children… however… There are four states that have not established a legal set of statute limitations for any crimes. This allows those states to prosecute a charge at any time after it was committed… including crimes of sexual predation, such as child rape, etc… The states without statues of limitations: Kentucky, South Carolina, West Virginia and Wyoming.)

Busted postal worker revisited…

Last week I wrote about some “bad-ass” cops who busted an on-duty postal worker in Brooklyn

Well… now the news has hit the stands that the lieutenant that was with them… their immediate supervising and the on the scene officer has been stripped of his badge and gun and put on modified duty.  In fact, NYPD top cop in charge… Commissioner Bill Bratton… said he had “strong concerns” about the officers’ action and that “(He was) very interested in the charge that was made against this individual, what he was arrested for and the validity of that. Based on what I witnessed on the various videos I’ve reviewed I have strong concerns about the charge against that individual.”mailman-handcuffed_

Even the loud mouthed I gotta protect all the damn cops whether they be right or wrong leader of the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association (PBA), Patrick Lynch, was kind of sedated when asked about the case against the lieutenant and possibly looming for members of the PBA… when he issued his pro forma declaration about not “rushing to judgment.” But it is Lynch… and he still had to try to put his cop spin on it when he said… “No one ever has the right to resist arrest. Compliance is not optional.”

I agree with Lynch but not for the reason peeps might think… I agree because if you don’t comply you might wind up dead. What with choke holds as well as some cops having a tendency of pulling out weapons for no reasons at all that seem to have a mind of their own when they wind up being fired or bashing into a person’s skull… or maybe wind up with injuries that while in transit from the scene to jail… sometimes resulting in death.

BUT… when cops are doing bad shit unto we the people… when they have no rationale to bust someone’s ass…  except that they are some big old bad ass policemen… that can do whatever they please like some bad-ass bullying crap against someone… then resistance is not necessarily futile and at times very understandable… and sometimes maybe even the correct course to take…

… just make sure there are enough cameras around to get all the wrongful and criminal action being perpetrated against your fucking ass by the men in blue like postal worker Glen Grays did when he got his ass manhandled illegally by four supposedly either off-duty or undercover cops in NYC…

Now this rankle my bones…

… and pisses me off to no end, too…

A Mississippi woman, Erica Flores Dunahoo, made a deal to rent her and her beau some RV park space and were all settled in nice and comfy like when she gets phone call saying she and her husband…  gots to get their asses out.

Seems the RV park owner… one Gene Baker…  didn’t know beforehand that Erica Flores Dunahoo’s husband… Stanley Hoskins, a Mississippi National Guard Sergeant… happened to be Black.

Erica Flores Dunahoo & husband, Stanley Hoskins
Erica Flores Dunahoo & husband, Stanley Hoskins

Curiously… guess its oakey dokey to rent to Hispanic and/or Native Americans down in Mississippi… Erica is both… but not Blacks… even discrimination is discriminatory these days it seems…

Seems it all went down like this… Baker… “Hey, you didn’t tell me you was married to no black man.”

Erica says she didn’t realize it was a problem.

Baker… “Oh, it’s a big problem with the members of my church, my community and my mother-in-law… They don’t allow that black and white shacking.”

Dunahoo and Hoskins went and visited Baker with the intention of getting Baker to change his mind but he just handed them their rent of $275, and, said, effectively, thank ya’ll very much and don’t let he door hit ya’ll in the ass on your way out…

Dunahoo reported the matter to the NAACP. Seems racially based bias was outlawed by the some little law that was passed back in 1964 called the Civil Rights Act. Not to mention that interracial marriage has been fully legal since 1967… the Supreme Court said so… and that decision included Mississippi as well as every other damn state in the US. Yeah.. right.. the government had to have the Court declare it so… go figure…civil-rights-act

Land of the free my ass…

When asked for a comment by the  the Clarion-Ledger Erica said, ” My husband ain’t no thug. He’s a good man. My husband has served his country for 13 years. He’s a sergeant in the National Guard.”

When Baker was asked for his side of things, he said that it wasn’t him necessarily because he didn’t have a problem with mixed race couples… (why, some of his bestest friends are mixed race couples)… rather it was all this damn public pressure from everyone…  like all them local racist son of bitches that were around in his family and church not to mention his own cowardly ass.

Then he told the Calrion-Ledger that “I’m closing (the park) down, and that solves the problem.”.

No, the fuck it don’t… the schmuck broke a few laws as far as I can see. But, the one I’m gonna pay attention to is the fact he broke the law that outlaws discrimination based on race… the silly little law called The Civil Rights Act… the coup fourré card in the entire shebang…

For that he needs to have his ass busted… tossed in jail and then go through the legal process from point A to wherever it brings him to. Which hopefully is some sort of prison time and a bigass fucking fine.

Then maybe we can say the problem is solved… at least this one incident of fucking absurdity and stupidity as well as racist and asinine behavior.

Instant karma’s gonna get ya…

A Florida woman found her husband of 16 years was a lying ass no-account bastard when she discovered  he was cheating on her…

So she confronted him about it… with a gun… 60-year-old Victoria Reid said she was gonna shoot him somewhere to maim him and let him know he had to pay for what the SOB had done did to her… so… she kneecapped him… shot him right in the knee.Melbourne-Woman-

One small teensy weensy problem… the bullet ricocheted off some bone and traveled up his thigh and directly into his balls.

Victoria has been busted for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault domestic violence… at last report… there was no word on her husband’s condition. But, I’m guessing that this dude sure ain’t gonna be doing any cheating on anyone for a while…

What’s the quote? … “Heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned, Nor hell a fury like a woman scorned”… or as the Urban dictionary puts it… “Nothing is more ferocious than a woman whose been rejected in love, as evidenced by the hammer thrown through my windshield late last night” … or…

… Shoots you in the knee and hits your fucking balls…

Do we not bleed?

Recently, Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant signed a bill into law… House Bill 1523, known as the “Religious Liberty Accommodations Act”… that allows businesses to refuse service to gay couples on the employers’ religious background and beliefs.

The measure’s intention is to protect those who believe that marriage should be between one man and one woman, that sexual relations should only take place inside such marriages, and that male and female genders are unchangeable.

Bryant said that he signed the measure “… to protect sincerely held religious beliefs and moral convictions,” and, “This bill does not limit any constitutionally protected rights or actions of any citizen of this state under federal or state laws.”

And, I say bullshit…

I come into a store and I am a gay person and you don’t serve me because of that fact… not because I’m being disruptive… not because I’m doing anything wrong… breaking any laws… but just because I am a gay person then you are breaking the law.

Your religion or moral values don’t feed the bulldog… that’s as straight forward as I can put it.discrimination

Those morals that are supposedly being protected can’t be “protected” if they violate someone else’s right to be who they are. Because, simply, then those morals ain’t very moral at all. And, maybe they need to get out of a business that is supposed to serve the public.

Discrimination is discrimination and wrong is wrong. Someone don’t serve me when I got some long green to spend you are violating the law… If a person refuses to abide by the law then maybe their business should be shut down.

And North Carolina? That goes for your bullshit anti-gay proclamations, too.

You are free to have your own personal set of morals and/or believe in and practice your religion… but… not when it impinges upon the rights of others… you can’t say “I refuse service” to any single blessed living person based on that criteria…

One more time you can’t discriminate based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender or sexual orientation.

Understood? Plain enough for ya’ll?

Hope so…

My apologies to William Shakespeare…

… but I thought a certain passage of his was applicable to the discussion of the last topic with a few minor changes…

I am a gay person. Hath not a gay person eyes? Hath not a gay person hands, organs, dimensions, senses, affections, passions? Fed with the same food, hurt with the same weapons, subject to the same diseases, healed by the same means, warmed and cooled by the same winter and summer as a person with Christian morals are? If you prick us, do we not bleed? If you tickle us, do we not laugh? If you poison us, do we not die? And if you wrong us, shall we not revenge? If we are like you in the rest, we will resemble you in that. If a gay person wrong a Christian moralist, what is his humility? Revenge. If a Christian moralist wrong a Jew, what should his sufferance be by the moralist’s example? Why, revenge. The villainy you teach me I will execute—and it shall go hard but I will better the instruction.”

Moral…  of the story…

Be careful what you wish for… payment can be a real mutherfucker if ya’ll ain’t real damn careful…

Ain’t advocating nothing evil just saying… karma… there’s that damn word again… can be a real mutherfucker sometimes.

Happy Spring…
