Let’s start of with David’s Top……WAIT WHAT?? we are done with the top ten? Well shit. David is working on a new list for you all so we will get that up and running as soon as possible.

For now, I will give you a little DID YOU KNOW?

Did you know that Wrestlemania IX was the first Wrestlemania that did not have a major celebrity in the event? Other than a fake Julias Ceasar and Cleopatra, there were no celebrities at this event.

And now here are the questions this week?

This first question comes from Rey out of Vancouver B.C.

I know that the Undertaker faced Kane twice, Shawn Michaels twice, and Triple H twice at Wrestlemania’s, are there any other matches that have been repeat matches at a Wrestlemania?

Actually The Undertaker has faced Triple H three times at a Wrestlemania. He also wrestled him at Wrestlemania 17 in Houston. This is a really good question though. So I did some research to find all of the Wrestlemania rematches of all time. Here is what I have.

Rowdy Roddy Piper vs Mr T. (They wrestled in the tag match at Wrestlemania 1, and the boxing match at Wrestlemania 2.

Bret Hart vs Yokozuna, Wrestlemania IX and X for the title.

Undertaker vs Kane at Wrestlemania XIV and Wrestlemania XX

Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania XXXIV and XXV

Undertaker vs Triple H at Wrestlemania X7, XXVI, and XXIII

Stone Cold Steve Austin vs The Rock at Wrestlemania XV and X7, and XIX

Hulk Hogan vs Andre the Giant at Wrestlemania III and IV

The Rock vs John Cena at Wrestlemania XXVIII and XXIX

The Dudley Boys vs The Hardy Boys vs Edge and Christian at Wrestlemania 2000 and X7

Chris Benoit vs Kurt Angle vs Chris Jericho at Wrestlemania 2000 (twice in the same night for separate titles)

and a few others that may or may not count, depending on who you ask.

King Harley Race and the Junkyard Dog faced each other at Wrestlemania III and then in the battle royal at Wrestlemania IV.

Maybe this would count. Mr Perfect faced Lex Luger at Wrestlemania IX, then Perfect was the referee in the match between Luger and Yokozuna.

Chris Benoit face Kurt Angle in a triple threat match at Wrestlemania 2000, and then one on one at Wrestlemania X7.

The Dudley Boys vs The Hardy Boys vs Edge and Christian faced off in tag team title matches on more than one occasion.

There have been other guys that have faced each other in the money in the Bank match on several occasions.

Will from Salt Lake City Utah chimes in this week

What was the point to having Sunny manage three different teams in 1996? I know she managed the Body Donnas, Smoking Gunns, and the Godwins. Why was she paired up with these teams and not stay with one or even two teams?

Pretty much it was because they will billing Sunny as a gold digger and she was going to manage whomever the tag team champions were at that particular time. Here is the rundown. As the manager of the Body Donnas, the Body Donnas were the tag team champions after they defeated the Godwins at Wrestlemania 12. Later that year, the Godwins defeated the Body Donnas to capture the WWE Tag team titles, then Sunny abandoned the Body Donnas and went with the Godwins. A few months later the Smoking Gunns defeated the Godwins to win the titles, and she went with the Gunns. So she was basically a gold digger and was only going to manage champions.

Tamryn from Chicago IL wants to know about the Freebirds

What really happened with the Fabulous Freebirds? I guess what Im asking is why did the original Freebirds stop teaming together and they put Jimmy Garvin in there?

The Freebirds really didnt break up so to say, what happened was, Buddy Roberts got injured and was not able to compete in the ring any longer, so it was down to Hayes and Gordy. They jumped ship to the NWA/WCW where Hayes had a decent singles career. Gordy then left for Japan to pursue a career over there leaving Hayes all by himself. He recruited Jimmy Garvin, who he had teamed with in the past and Garvin fit the look and both he and Hayes had chemistry. So it just made sense for Hayes and Garvin to continue the Freebirds era. Roberts came back in the late 90’s to join the Freebirds again in a managerial role for a brief time period.

Blaine from Peoria AZ asks about Seth Rollins cashing in.

Was it planned the whole time for Rollins to cash in the Money in the Bank at Wrestlemania, or was that something that just happened spur of the moment?

No, the plan was to have Roman Reigns walk out as the WWE Champion over Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania. Vince made the call to have Rollins cash in the Money in the bank, mainly due in part because he knew that Reigns was losing some steam with the fans, and he wanted to end Wrestlemania on a holy shit type moment. The decision was made about an hour prior to the match, so it did not happen during that match as it was rumored.

Edward from Pittsburgh PA asks about the Worlds Largest Athlete.

Why does the WWE treat the Big Show so badly, always putting him in F’d up situations. Losing to a guy like Floyd Mayweather, or being someones bitch? He was not treated that way in WCW, he was freakin unstoppable.

Because the Big Show is a worker, and can get over, as well as get anyone else over. He will always do what is asked of him and can be successful. Look at it this way. Show was the best guy for Floyd Mayweather to face off against because of his size compared to Floyd. The match drew, and because of Show, it garnered national air time on CNN, FOX, ESPN, FOX News, Sporting News, among others. The Big Show is one of those guys who you can put in any situation, and he will take it and make the best out of it. That is why he is going to be a Hall of Famer when it is all said and done.

Keep in mind, that Show is a former 3 time WWE Champion, so it is not like he has not had any success in the WWE.
