Welcome to the 7poundbag End of the Year Spectacular.
Every Day from now until the New Year, a different Question about what was will be answered by the staff. I answered no followup questions and some questions can be taken different ways. Thus allowing the writer to answer how he or she felt.
That gives you, dear Reader, some new Content while allowing those of us that enjoy our families, or at least the food that comes with them, some time to partake.
Game/event you will remember 10 years from now
Joe: The Boston Marathon
David: I’m gonna say the Super Bowl,
Its not often that the BIG GAME is remembered by anyone but the fans of the teams that played, but this one is different, the power going out? Plus just a great game. I can also say this years Iron Bowl might be close, but if Auburn loses the NC, its going to lose a bit- I wonder if it will be like the Flutie Bowl.
EJ: I’ll agree with Joe and go with The Boston Marathon. The events of that day shouldn’t be forgotten anytime soon. Going to have to be the end of the Auburn-Alabama game. I like to watch the SEC on CBS games every Saturday so I’ve seen Auburn come back and win multiple games this season, but something about Chris Davis Jr. from Auburn returning the missed field goal attempt from Adam Griffith just made me go “WOW” and make me sit in disbelief for a good 10 minutes saying “did that just happen?”
