NFL Mock Draft Part IV

Welcome to the Mock Draft! This year, Archie and David are doing things a bit different, Archie is playing GM for the AFC teams and David is doing the same for the NFC.

Earlier picks can be found 1-6 7-12 13-18

ny-giants-Helmet19. NY Giants

Needs: LB, RT, DE

The Pick: The Giants were a massive disappointment last year, but have some major holes in the defense at all 3 levels. I’m going with Dion Jordan, DE/OLB, Oregon, since he can play either spot, Is fast as Hades, and gives me a chance to beat RG3 at the corner.

Also looking at: Teo, Chance Warmack,

Chances of a trade: The Giants really don’t trade a ton, unless there is a prize target, and Dion is a huge get.

chi-bears-helmet20. Chicago Bears

Needs: Offensive Line, Offensive Line, passing targets, and some Offensive Linemen.

The Pick: I’m going to be honest here. I need PROVEN O-Linemen, not rookies that could or could not pan out. the LAST thing I need is a Robert Galley or some bust. I, and my QB, NEED guys that can play TODAY. So I’ll take a target. Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee.

Also looking at: Every OT on the board, and T’eo

Chances of a trade: I’m getting the #2 WR at 20? I’m good.

cin-bengals-helmet21.Cincinnati Bengals

Needs: SS, ILB, DE

The Pick: Kenny Vacarro, FS, Texas

Also looking at:Sam Montgomery, Sam Elam

Chances of a trade: There is not too much to go after in the FA market for Safety help, therefore, don’t look for the Bengals to give up their first round pick. Vacarro is one of the best safeties in this  year’s draft and IF the Bengals traded it would be to move up not down.

stl-rams-helmet22. St Louis Rams (from Washington)

Needs: Offensive Line, Tight End, DB, WR.

The Pick: I got  Lane Johnson at 8, now I’m going to lock down the left side for a decade with Chance Warmack, G, Alabama, the best G in the draft. I’m happy and Steven Jackson must be dancing at his home.

Also looking at:  D.J. Fluker, OT, But I think I’ll take a Guard

Chances of a trade: What you got?

min-vikings-helmet23. Minnesota Vikings

Needs:  WR, LB, QB, Guards.

The Pick: I like Alec Ogletree, LB, Georgia here, can play any position on the second level, and become a leader as my defense ages.

Also looking at: Jarvis Jones.

Chances of a trade: Pretty high, there’s always someone in love with a top 15 talent that drops.

ind-colts-authentic24. Indianapolis Colts

Needs: OL

The Pick: Larry Warford, OG, UK

Also looking at: Alvin Bailey, Oday Aboushi

Chances of a trade: IF they could move up to snag Joeckel or Fisher I think they would. The package would have to compliment their need to build a good OL around their young stud QB.
