Mock Draft Vol I Part II

Welcome to the Mock Draft! This year, Archie and David are doing things a bit different, Archie is playing GM for the AFC teams and David is doing the same for the NFC.

If you missed the first 6 picks, go HERE

 7. Arizona Cardinals

Needs: I think the Cards are closer to the Bottom than they are the top, I see holes all over the roster, but lets be honest, a solid QB makes it all better.

The Pick: Eric Fisher, OT, Central Michigan No matter who they have, he has to be upright. I’m not as big a fan of Mike Glennon as some, being an ACC hack I just don’t see it.

Also looking at: Mike Glennon

Chances of a trade: Its a new GM, and if it was me, I’d trade. If Fisher was from Michigan or the SEC he might be a top 3 pick, being from a smaller school, I’m not killing myself racing to the podium if he’s there. I’ll trade down to get an extra pick or two.

buf-bills-helmet8. Buffalo Bills

Needs: QB, OLB, CB

The Pick: Tyler Wilson, QB Arkansas

Also looking at: Dee Milliner

Chances of a trade:    I don’t see a trade possibility that would upgrade their draft selection at this point. Their needs at QB, OLB and CB far outweigh their benefits of dropping to second or third round selections just to save a few bucks.

 9. New York Jets

Needs: DE, OLB, OG

The Pick: Alex Okafor, DE , TX

Also looking at: Barkevious Mingo

Chances of a trade: If the Jets could move Tebow in a deal that could land them help along the OL, then I believe they would trade down and take a chance on say, Datone Jones or Kawann Short in the second round.

 10. Tennessee Titans

Needs: DE, OT, FS

The Pick: Damontre Moore, DE, TX A&M

Also looking at: Eric Fisher, Kenny Vaccaro,

Chances of a trade: At number ten, Tennessee could benefit greatly from a second and fourth round pick for this spot.

11. San Diego Chargers

Needs: OT, DT, OG

The Pick: Johnathan Hankins, DT, Ohio State

Also looking at: Chance Warmack, Eric Fisher

Chances of a trade: Little to none that I can see. They have way too many holes to fill along both lines.

 12. Miami Dolphins

Needs: WR, OT, OG

The Pick: Keenan Allen, WR, Cal

Also looking at: Chance Warmack, Jonathan Cooper

Chances of a trade: I can see where they might venture in the FA market to grab say a Mike Wallace or other feature receiver. If that happens they could trade down to third round or so to try and find a gem there as well.
