NCAA Week 10 Games

Sorry this is a day late, was waiting on a late entry.

Virginia Tech @ Miami

DJ- Miami

EJ- Virginia Tech. Both teams are .500 but I like the Hokies on the road. Logan Thomas and company have struggled but I like their chances against a young Hurricanes defense.

Archie- tough one to pick but I will go with the ‘Canes

Steve- Virginia Tech

Washington @ California

DJ- Washington

EJ-  Washington. Neither team inspires much confidence when it comes to a pick’em but I like the Huskies. Washington might be 4-4 but all of their wins have been at home. However, Cal is just bad this season. I thought they would turn the corner but they haven’t.

Archie- The problem choosing here is that both teams havea Jeckyll-Hyde complex going. I will take Cal on this one.

Steve- Washington- Washington is fresh off a big win against Oregon State. This will carry over against a weaker California team.

TCU at (23) West Virginia

DJ- West Virginia

EJ- West Virginia. The Mountaineers have had a few rough games but Geno Smith and company tend to win in Morgantown.

Archie- Until West Virginia shows they can play defense. I’m not picking them in the Big 12 anymore; TCU

Steve- West Virginia

Michigan at Minnesota

DJ- Michigan

EJ- Michigan. Have to stick with my Wolverines. Even if Nebraska beat them up last week. The Little Brown Jug is on the line this week in Minneapolis and the Wolverines lead the series 67-22

Archie- Wolverines!!!!!

Steve- Michigan

Missouri at (8) Florida

DJ- Florida

EJ- Florida. They lost a tough one to the Sooners but the Gators still have a shot at winning the SEC East, and still have a good chance at a BCS at large spot. The Gators need to keep winning and Jeff Driskel and company will do so against the Tigers.

Archie- No doubter; Gators

Steve- Florida

(16) Texas A&M at (17)Mississippi State

DJ: Texas A&M

EJ: Texas A&M. Johnny Football! Manziel is a freshman sensation that does it all for the Aggies. Even though this game is in Starkville, the Aggies have showed that their able to go on the road and win in the SEC. I like the Aggies here.

Archie: This should be a good SEC shoot out. You have a great offense (A&M) going against a good defense (Miss ST). I pick the Bulldogs.

Steve: Mississippi State- I like the Bulldogs because they are going from playing the top team in the world (okay country) to playing a offensive machine in Texas Tech. I think that loss to Alabama will spark a fire in Mississippi State.

Tulsa at Arkansas

DJ: Arkansas

EJ: Tulsa. Going with the upset here. The Golden Hurricane are 7-1, with their only loss week 1 at Iowa State. The Golden Hurricane average close to 250 yards per game.

Archie: Every time I pick the Razorbacks to win they disappoint me. Give me the Golden Hurricane on this one.

Steve: Tulsa- Tulsa is playing well, Arkansas is not. You do the math.

Texas at (20)Texas Tech

DJ: Texas

EJ: Texas Tech

Archie: Same as WV for Texas, until they show some form of consistency on D I can’t choose them anymore. Tech on this one.

Steve: Texas Tech

Pittsburgh at (4) Notre Dame

DJ: Notre Dame

EJ: Notre Dame. I’m tired of picking against the Irish and losing. The Irish play defense, and the Irish can run the ball. They’ll get by the Panthers with ease.

Archie:  After watching what ND did to OU, give me the Irish.

Steve: Notre Dame- After this game; Three more to the BCS title game. Will the Irish fold? This will be the question for the next three weeks.

Iowa at Indiana

DJ: Iowa

EJ: Iowa. I was tempted to go with the Hoosiers here because of Iowa is on a losing streak, but I’m going to roll the dice that the Hawkeyes can win this game on the road.

Archie: I have to take the Hawkeyes in this BIG matchup

Steve: Iowa (please note the sarcasm that our friend Archie states…ha ha) This really could be a big game for Indiana, a win and a Wisconsin loss puts them a game behind the Badgers for third place (which is technically first place) Is it me, or is this division crap?

(21) Nebraska at Michigan State

DJ: Nebraska

EJ: Nebraska. The Huskers still have a shot at the Big 10 title game. Like them in this one.

Archie: I’ll stay with the Huskers this week as well.

Steve: Nebraska

Mississippi at (7) Georgia

DJ: Georgia

EJ: Georgia. The Bulldogs control their destiny to get to the SEC East title game. All they have to do is win out. I like Aaron Murray and company in this one.

Archie: Georgia – Go Dawgs!

Steve: Georgia

(10) Clemson at Duke

DJ: Clemson

EJ: Clemson. Duke was a nice story in getting to bowl eligibility but they are not beating this Tigers team. Boyd to Watkins all day.

Archie: Duke showed their real colors last week. Give me the Tigers.

Steve: Clemson

(2) Oregon at (18)USC

DJ: Oregon

EJ: Oregon. The Ducks offense is unreal. Expect a heavy dose of Kenjon Barner and De’Anthony Thomas in this game. Ducks will run on the Trojans.

Archie: I will stay with the hot hands and uber fast feet….Quack Attack! Ducks!

Steve: Oregon- The Ducks will roll on the Trojans. They nearly have to to keep the pace with Alabama, Kansas State, and Notre Dame. Every game is a must win by Oregon, and not only that, they are going to have to win by a couple touchdowns or more.

(1)   Alabama at (5) LSU

DJ: Alabama

EJ: Alabama. The Tide haven’t played a close game all season, and even though I expect LSU to make this a close game, I expect the Tide to roll to a victory in this one.

Archie:. I understand that LSU’s only hope this week is creating turnovers with their D. Something Bama has not been doing this year. Bama by 17.

Steve: Alabama- Will be a low scoring event, just like last season. Only difference is that Alabama will come out on top. Prediction: 17-13

(24) Arizona at (25)UCLA

DJ: UCLA

EJ: Arizona. I really like the Wildcats fast pace offense. Matt Scott is a true dual threat at quarterback. I expect a lot of points in this game and a Wildcats win.

Archie: Other than the 56-0 trouncing from Oregon, Arizona has been close in the other losses.

UCLA got trounced by Cal but then came back strong in their next two victories. I think the hot hand
rides with the Wildcats at this point. Arizona.

Steve: Arizona- The Cats are on roll and playing very good right now. Other than a drubbing at Oregon, they have been in every game, and UCLA has not been the same team since starting out the season. I like Arizona in a close game (maybe overtime).
