SEA at SF 8:20 PM, NFL
DJ: The 49ers. They are at a home and it’s pretty much just a hunch. They will respond after the butt whooping by the Giants.
Sunday, October 21
TEN at BUF 1:00 PM, CBS
DJ: Remember the Titans!!!
DJ: Chris Johnson should be able to run against the Bills horrible defense. This may be the shootout of the week since both teams don’t have much of a defense. Titans win, 35-31.
David: Buffalo has a running game, and Chan Gailey has a reputation on being stupid one week, decent the next. He was stupid last week.
Cle at Ind 1:00pm, CBS
David: Indy had a major letdown after the big emotional win. I still think Luck can run a better offense than Sanchez can, and at this point, has better weapons. Problem is, the Browns have a worse outlook than either win.
GB at STL 1:00 PM, FOX
Dan: After what Green Bay did to the Texans last weekend, I can’t help but pick the Packers and think that this is going to be a large blowout. But, as the Packers have played all season, I cannot say that with confidence. I know that the Packers are going to have success this game, but I think that the game will be close. Packers offense will still win it for their team, though.
ARI at MIN 1:00PM, FOX
Dan: With how Minnesota has been playing this season, I think that they’ll be able to beat Arizona. I don’t really think Arizona really has a great team, especially statistical reasons. Adrian Peterson and Christian Ponder will lead the VIkings to victory.
DJ: 2 teams that have been surprising meet. The Cardinals will win after a loss last weekend while the Vikings start their fade.
WSH at NYG 1:00 PM, FOX
DJ: The Redskins defense is a mess and Elite Eli is looking like the leading candidate for the NFL MVP right now.
NO at TB 1:00 PM, FOX
David: Vilma’s back, Coach #2 takes over and Brees had a full week to adjust to real life as an OC. Tampa’s a quick trip, and I think the Saints are getting back to being the Saints.
DAL at CAR 1:00 PM, FOX
David: Cam Newton got a week off to calm down, and hopefully Ron Rivera played some Madden and learned what to do in the closing moments of the game. Of course Jason the Unready made Ron look like Tom Landry the past few weeks, but If this game comes down to the last few minutes, I’m more comfortable with Cam than with Romo.
DJ: Dallas. The Cowboys are facing an early season must win game. They can’t afford to lose this game and drop to 2-4. The Panthers are having their own troubles and this game is really a tossup. I just think Tony Romo responds with a big game to help Dallas pull out the win.
BAL at HOU 1:00 PM, CBS
David: Baltimore got a squeaker with the Cowboys, and the Texans were shamed by the Packers, guess who got to stay home all week hearing about it. Baltimore’s defense is hurt, and if Ray Lewis can’t go, Houston is going to work a lot of frustration out on them, and hopefully get the inside track on homefield they so badly need.
JAC at OAK 4:25 PM, CBS
DJ: After the near upset on the road against the Falcons, I think the Raiders solved some issues during the bye week. The Raiders defense played well enough to win and I don’t see the Jags moving the ball much on them. The Jags allow 163 yards per game on the ground, 30th in the League. And 261 yards per game through the air, 23rd. Darren McFadden and Carson Palmer should have big games. The Jags offense is last in the League with just 13 points per game. The Raiders win, 27-16.
NYJ at NE 4:25 PM, CBS
DJ: At home, the Pats should have enough to beat the Jets. After this game, the Tim Tebow era starts in New York.
PIT at CIN 8:20 PM, NBC
Dan: I have Pittsburgh winning this game. They have a solid team and I think that they’re better than the Bengals also. I like what Big Ben and co. can do along with the Steelers defense. Not too confident in the Bengals, especially after they lost to the Browns.
David: Pitt has major issues on Defense, and the Bengals are young and hungry. The Dalton gang are flying under the radar and I simply like their ability to outscore Big Ben.
Monday, October 22
DET at CHI 8:30 PM, ESPN
Dan: While Chicago’s defense has been very good the last couple of weeks, I think that Detroit’s offense is going to start clicking like they should be and will overcome the defense. When you look at the defensive line for the Lions and the offensive line for the Bears, I’m not very comfortable with Jay Cutler at quarterback and Cutler leading the Bears to victory. So Detroit wins this match-up away from home on Monday night.
David: I like the Bears at home, Cutler is on a tear, and the Lions defense simply isn’t going to stop Forte on Monday Night.
